A Midsummer Night's Dream
1989

2nd to 5th August
Directed by Linda Kirk & Helen McCallum

I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine:
There sleeps Titania sometime of the night,
Lulled in these flowers with dances and delight.

Shakespeare's much-loved comedy was one of our most successful productions, with audiences coming back on the last night to see it a second time, and filling every possible space in our cloister auditorium.
